So far so good...
I'm sitting here in Seattle waiting for our flight to Korea and then on to Vladivostok. It's been about six months of prayer and planning, but Carl and I are on our way. I'm unsure of our exact itnerary, but I do know that we are planning on visiting several churches and teaching through the first 8 chapters of Romans wherever we go!
In my preperation for this trip, I've been reading Romans over and over. I LOVE what Paul says in the first chapter: First, he says he longed to visti them to "strengthen them" (v.11), and that HE would be encouraged (v.12), and that he would be able to "reap a harvest" among them (v.13).
I feel like that is exactly what we are doing on this trip. We want to encourage and bless the various pastors and churches we encounter. But, I can't help but think WE will be the ones who are truly encouraged. Then, we are praying that we will be able to preach the gospel and see a harvest!
Carl and I will attempt to keep you all up to speed and upload some pics as much as we can. Honestly, I'm not sure how much internet connection we will have, but we will do our best!
(PS-It's so fun to travel with Carl! That man can't walk to the bathroom without sharing Jesus with someone!)

PRAYING! I am SO glad you thought of blogging!! How blessed we are to have the means of communication that we do.I know your journey will be more than you could have ever imagined, and you guys will be a huge blessing to the Pastors and people there. I also know there will be many divine appointments along the way...be ready and looking, remembering that Jesus is your strength and where your energy is found to keep going! That's what I'll be thinking of to keep me going while I'm in my Ocean Front condo in Princeville Hawaii. ;) Seriously- I'll continuously be praying for you guys from afar.
